How To Choose Domain Names 0

Tag: beginners — keithwellman at 8.09 am

Before we launch a presence on the internet it is necessary to choose and register one or more domain names. This is a very important step. It is not a task that should be taken lightly or flippantly, the domain name can be the difference between having a successful website and receiving no visitors and hits.

It can take time to choose a suitable name as often our first choices are already taken. Obviously the most common and popular domains would have been snapped up a long time ago. Many times such domains may still not be in use, but the cost of purchasing would be prohibitive.

It is your domain name that is like the sign board on top of a shop. It is what makes your website and portal unique. The domain name is the web address that is typed into a browser. Think about what such names you can remember easily, you will also need to choose one that is catchy and easy to memorise.

Do you know how many websites are currently live on the internet? Can you guess? Well, the figure has now surpassed one hundred million. So this means there is this same number of domain names in existence. The competition that now exists on the online realm for business and custom is intense. You need to do all you can to give your online company an advantage.

So, how to go about this? Well first the name you choose needs to be relevant to your portal. If you are selling fishing supplies there is now use in calling yourself ‘TK enterprises’ as this will not show what information is contained on your site. Think of which keywords are relevant to your business and try to use a selection of these in the domain. The greater number of options you have the easier you will find it to locate an available option. If there are a few choices of words you could use then by altering the combination you may find a domain that is free.

Any domain name should not be too extensive. Try to keep it fewer than twenty five characters if possible as nobody likes to have to type in long names into their browsers. The spelling should be the most common form.

The suffix is another consideration. Do you want to go for a dot com or dot net end to the domain? Maybe your site is geo-specific; therefore you would want your country’s code in the domain such as co uk or co in.

When choosing a domain always keep in mind how people are going to discover your web pages. Usually this would be through a search engine. Keep your domain simple and relevant so that you can receive better search engine placement. At the end of the day there is very little that can compare to simply asking your friends and family members what they think of a certain name.

Outsourcing to India is a great way to get affordable workers for any programming jobs. India has a lot of educated, very intelligent people that can program just about anything you may need. It’s a global phenomenon which is growing exponentially as we speak.

We ll know that different countries are good in some areas and other countries in other areas. Like for instance China, it is accepted that it is a leader in exporting it’s good world wide. The South Africans are experts in property development and of course India is the leader when it comes to IT know how.

The reason why India is so strong in the outsource game, is that she has a huge number of highly skilled man power, working at a fraction of the cost which an average American or European worker would want or would have to live on. The cost of living is notably much cheaper in India, hence the salaries are also low.

They are also very competitive when it comes to pricing of projects. They have the ability to quickly adapt to market fluctuations and can easily formulate new strategies to suit their clients.

Indians by nature have an excellent work ethic stemmed from their well balanced upbringing. They will not waiver if problems need to be ironed out. They are expert problem solvers.

India boasts a world class infrastructure second to none. Her IT capabilities will even but some European countries to shame. Hence the in pour of IT related job offers.

Benefits like saving costs on employee benefits are considered when a company is looking to outsource it’s business. They don’t have trade union issues and won’t have strike actions brought against them, because their work is done by an Indian work force, subjected to Indian labor law.

It is a fact that India is producing some of the world’s finest and best professionals in the software industry. Their universities are well equipped to train and offer studies which give them the tools to compete internationally. Their study guides are of a high standard and many people around the world flock to her learning centers because of these high standards.

That is why ninety five plus countries are utilizing India’s outsourcing solutions. Their software development conforms to the ISO and SEI CMM standards. This fact has put India’s capabilities in magnifying glass and is carefully scrutinized by big IT developers for possible solutions to their workforce problems.

You might not know it but they have played a big role in the progress of the internet as a whole. Things like Business Process re-engineering services, E-commerce, system integration and maintaining legacy systems to mention a few are being engineered by an Indian IT workforce.

Having a pro-IT government also helps to fan the industry and many millions of dollars are invested in her people. India has cities like Bangalore which is also known as the silicon valley of IT professionals, all working hard to keep the internet and software development growing exponentially. You cannot go wrong by outsourcing to India. They are the best at what they do.

The Many Benefits And Disadvantages Of Outsourcing 2

Tag: beginners — keithwellman at 8.09 am

If you watch the news on a regular basis, or at the very least before the election of our new President, you have likely heard of outsourcing. Are there pros to outsourcing? There most certainly are. But are there cons? Again, yes there are. Through this article we will detail a few of the most prevalent benefits and disadvantages of outsourcing.

First, should you still not be entirely clear as to what outsourcing actually is, allow me to explain it as plainly as possible. Outsourcing is when a company sends its most costly labor out to another part of the globe to have it done by another organization or group that is willing or able to do it cheaper.

Let’s talk about the benefits and disadvantages of outsourcing. Obviously there can be huge benefits to outsourcing jobs to India or the Philippines. Filipinos are known to be hard workers with pure honesty, loyalty and great integrity. A great benefit would be the fact that you can hire a full-time employee for as little as $250 per month. One disadvantage may be the fact that you cannot really monitor what they do with their work time. However, you can monitor results and as long as you profit from their labor it shouldn’t really matter.

So what are the advantages to outsourcing? Actually, from a company perspective, there are plenty of reasons that you might opt to outsource. While there might be many of quality reasons and purposes, you might benefit more from just having the two most common arguments as to why companies should outsource.

The first of these reasons is the truth that, it is much more profitable for a company to be able to outsource. You see, while it might be able to be done right where they are, should it be able to be done for fractions of that price, the company has a better chance of actually succeeding. With the constant flux of the national economy, businesses that were once prominent and powerful are crumbling below the weight of attempting to stay afloat. With outsourcing, they are able to not only keep their costs down, but inevitably keep that cost constant for the customer that purchases it.

The second most common reason that companies claim to outsource is to help out nations and regions that are suffering more than we are here. While in many cases this could be true, it might not always be so. Yet, for the cases in which it is true, this is a noble approach to business dealings. It would technically be a great situation for both sides, the economy improves through the production of jobs where the project was outsourced, while the stateside company gets to reduce their cost of production and stay in the running until the economy gets back to how it should be.

Before you get all for outsourcing, there are some serious disadvantages associated with the process. While there might be an equal amount to the advantages as far as the opposing party is concerned, I will again only address the two most common cons from a company choosing to outsource production.

While you might be able to make the argument that outsourcing vastly aids a struggling business (or business that isn’t struggling), there are just as many that would suggest that it is the individual, namely the employee of said company, that truly suffers. If you work for a company that has decided to outsource you are likely in fear of losing your job. While this might not be the case for everyone in the company, the low men on the totem pole (which consequently is a lot of people) might experience massive lay offs or even termination.

The second point is sort of related to the first. Should the hours that an employee works get cut, removed, or terminated than the country as a whole will suffer. You see, the whole United States operates on the income obtained by hard working people. So should these people lose their jobs, they will no longer have the income to put into keeping other companies from outsourcing to save money. It’s a pretty serious cycle that results in a lot of work being sent overseas and a lot of people filling out the unemployment lines.

So as you can see, there are benefits and disadvantages of outsourcing. While a compelling argument could be made on either side of the coin, where you stand is where it affects you. That is usually the case.

My blog is not intended to make money, just keep me connected with people and share some of what I have learned.

But there are those who make a full time living at blogging. Top earners pull in over $1 million a year, just from one blog site (exact pecking order changes through time).

That’s not to say anyone and everyone can earn $1 million a year, merely to say there is money in blogging: good money. Whether blogging for cash is right for you depends on your temperament. Not everyone can write, for sure.

But blogging isn’t about being a “writer”, it’s more about being a personal communicator. If you have something to say and could say it to your friends over a coffee, you can blog. For sure.

All you really need is a passion or interest and an attitude! Read more »

Let’s continue from before. If you know what section of the market you are looking for, you need to lay some bait (like in fishing). You need to choose a good keyword, and there is plenty of instruction on the web on how to do that. Picking the right keywords is extremely critical to making money online with SEO.

Let’s suppose your keyword is “raise my child’s reading skill”. Note that keywords can be more than just one word. They can be a short phrase, which we would call a “long-tail” keyword. You certainly know what’s in a person’s mind who types in this phrase, right?

If – and ONLY IF – you can answer that person’s needs, then you can go fishing. Read more »

SEO For Beginners|Making Money Online With Seo 0

Tag: beginners — Keith Wellman at 8.09 am

SEO stands for search engine optimization. That means making changes and settings that will improve your chances of being high on the list of websites that Google shows to surfers searching for your topic. That is to say, the free “organic” listing, not the paid ads you see on the right hand side. It’s usually very long and goes on for dozens, maybe hundreds of pages, on that particular search term.

Paid Google advertisings (AdWords) will allow your ad to be shown when somebody types in a particular search term. You choose these search terms or “keywords” and you have to bid on them. The more you bid, the nearer the top of the display list you come.

As competition has increased over the years, you may find yourself having to pay $5, $10 or even as high as $50 a click, for the very popular search terms, if you want to come out top of the front page.
Not everyone wants to approach making money online with this pay-per-click (PPC) method. It need can be quite demanding in time and money. PPC managers spend dozens of hours a week, tracking their clicks and costs. Bidding can mean you are risking $1,000s.

The alternative, which is free, is simply to make yourself more visible in the organic listings by making certain changes in the settings and wording of your website. We call this  call search engine optimization. Read more »

Free Viral Traffic Makes Money Online 2

Tag: beginners — Keith Wellman at 8.09 am

If you haven’t yet started making money online, here’s a quick tip. Go over to a viral traffic plan, such as TrafficSwarm and get signed up. It’s totally free and you are GUARANTEED traffic to your site

If nothing else, you get one visitor for every link you click (tit-for-tat). You read 50 other ads, for a minimum of 15 seconds, and you are rewarded with 50 clicks to your sales page. You don’t have to buy anything, just click on the ads and read them briefly.

You can make the viral traffic page your home page; then you get a click every time you load your browser. It adds up.

But the smart thing to do is get other people to sign up under you. Then you get override links, like MLM. Some plans go down several levels. That can mean hundreds and even thousands of clicks – thousands of visitors to your site (or your Clickbank hoplink page).

This is one of the easiest ways to make your first $100- 200. Free traffic to your hoplink (affiliate) link, for a product you know converts. It’s like GoogleCash but you don’t have to pay for the Adwords clickthroughs!

Try it.

But remember, the REAL money online comes from having and managing your own product. These are just baby steps.

Beginners, Where To Start ? 7

Tag: beginners — Keith Wellman at 8.09 am

The hardest money online is the first $100- $1,000. Beginners will buy the courses and read advisories, vaguely understand it needs visitors and a sales page etc.  To make money online can be easy, but overwhelming at the same time.

But nothing comes together. Not enough visitors, so it’s hard to tell if the sales page works. No sales…

Maybe the sales copy isn’t good enough? Or the product isn’t right? Or maybe it just needs more visitors.

The problem is, when you lack experience, you can’t tell where it’s going wrong. It becomes very confusing.

There is only one certain way round this, which is to pick a product you know works, with proven sales. That means choose somebody else’s product which has already proven itself and that means Clickbank!

You need a Clickbank account and if you don’t have one, go over there right away (www.clickbank.com) and get signed up.

In the CB marketplace you can choose a product that’s right for your website, you can see its performance and how much commission you’ll earn. Usually, these products have their OWN sales page. You customize the link with your own Clickbank ID or nickname (that’s called a hoplink). Put the hoplink in your promotions and somebody else’s sales page does the work; you get the cash.

All that’s left, then, is traffic.

Gimme chance to get a coffee and I’ll give you a really easy tip for complete newbies…

The Gateway To Wealth Event is now just around the corner and I am excited as ever…

I plan on picking up some new JV partners whom I have never done business with… You should plan to do so also. That’s one of the main reason to go to a live event. It can turn your business around OVERNIGHT.

Anyways – I wanted to share 10 tips that will be helpful to you while attending any live event…

1.) Set goals for yourself before attending the event.

2.) When talking to someone new, ask them non-business related questions as this will open them up and make them feel more comfortable around you…

3.) If someone is in the middle of a conversion, do not interrupt the conversation or butt in mid sentence… Just wait till that individual has a free moment to introduce yourself…

4.) Buying a drink for someone can do amazing things

5.) Do some research on the speakers… Know who is going to be there and what they have going on… It is great to look up the speakers on Facebook, Twitter, Squidoo, or MySpace to find out about their personal lives and interest… These findings are great conversation starters…

6.) Be Prepared… (business cards, notepad, laptop…)

7.) Have a positive attitude and be someone who you would want to approach.

8.) If you have a product, bring a few copies, however, don’t push it to hard.
