Recently, as we bent under the torrent of orders for the Autopilot Sales Formula, I realized we had passed a certain critical mass. It was time to get help.
I’m not a business person. This is the first time I have ever owned and run my own business. The actual management is a whole different ball game to marketing products which, I admit, I’m good at. But that doesn’t qualify me to run a business.
It’s smart to know when you need help and I realized I didn’t know enough to cope with fast expansion and not fall into chaos at the office. I decided to bring in consultants and we are having a team move in to teach us sound business methods and systems.
I hope all customers will soon appreciate the beneficial changes.
The liberation of doing business on the Internet is great. We all long to live the life of freedom and luxury, but it is still a business and has to be run like one. That’s probably one of the big mistakes of Internet newbies: not treating their venture as a serious business FROM THE START.
